These are just a few of the values promoted at Valley View Middle School, one of two middle schools in the Edina Public School District. The school, along with the district, offers nationally recognized learning experiences and holistic child support.
In addition to a strong commitment to a quality curriculum, Valley View offers students opportunities to grow and learn in individualized ways. Student leadership opportunities, such as the Service Squad and Equity Team, prepare future leaders. Popular extracurricular activities include a spelling bee, chamber choir and math team.
Valley View Hornets practice teamwork and define excellence in events outside of the classroom. The Hornets have won nearly 200 state championship titles at the high school level, and talented Valley View students can try out for Varsity sports as well as middle school athletics.
Students preparing for college admission can take part in the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program. AVID assists students in challenging themselves through time management, research skills, writing and other academic areas. Virtual courses, multilingual support, special education and gifted student talent development are just a few examples of the dynamic resources that make Valley View Middle School a highly rated school in Minnesota.

This school is the best middle school in the area. If you ever come during connect time (9:13 am-9:27am) and hear announcements over the loudspeaker, thats me! Highly recommended!

I am in fifth grade and I'm going to go to vvms and hope it's really good like how all of you explained in your comments! My best friend is going here and said her older sister went here and said it was a fantastic school! Hope she's right! See you vvms in 2011-2012!!!
