It's a pretty good school, the teachers are really committed to their jobs most of the time and seem to enjoy teaching (honors classes) it's really the type of situation where if you are difficult you'll have a worse time.

Ever since being an income freshman I have been welcomed as family to the school and its community. The school staff and teachers have always encouraged and assisted students on perusing an education.

The schooling here gives a lot of opportunities for college readiness. However, there is a large distinction of the high and low income households. Racism is also very prevalent towards the African American and East Asian community.

I see a lot of comments talking about the bad teachers and it only applies if you take standard classes. I’m a senior right now and I’ve taken standard classes in freshmen and sophomore years and I’ve taken AP and honors classes in junior and senior years and it’s a way better experience as the teac...

The way the teachers teach are very bad with unnecessary rules and results in a bad grad rate.

as parent my son graduated from Valhalla HS year 2022 and accepted in UCSD. managed to be involved in all his activities and was great in classes and marching band. all teachers were great, and classes offered as honors helped him to get college credit.
