GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

El Campo High School is an interesting experience because you meet all types of people, and everyone has different experiences. I have learned about the teacher's life and how they became a teacher at El Campo High School. The worst part is the dress code because no one listens to it, but some teachers check. My favorite part of ECHS is the off-campus lunch. Lunch is my favorite because I don't have to be at school for a bit, and I get to walk around for a bit. The only change I want to see is no more dress code because it would show kids their style and personality. Sometimes that is all they need to make more friends.

My experience with El Campo High School has been pretty consistent throughout the four years I've attended. The teachers are willing to help as long as you are willing to try and the staff are willing to do the same. Even when one finds themselves giving up, there will be support to keep them going. Although there are many positives, I would love to see more diversity and better resources in the school.
