GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

In my personal opinion I love the school for its easy navigation and understanding staff members. However the students there do have behavioral issues which hardly ever get solved and some teachers never listen or help students in need. Overall love the school and schedules are very flexible.

I was an athlete in high school involved in the early college program and many other clubs. All my time was invested in high school trying to make it the best experience for me and everyone else. One thing I wish was different at my high school was the school spirit. Other high school would have this insane amount of school spirit where everyone was involved in the activities even the staff. I feel like at my school everyone heard about the activities and blew it off or gave no regard for it. Although for me high school has been a great experience and hanks high school is a good school to go to.

In the time that I have been at Hanks High School, it's been enjoyable. Teachers and academics are great and faculty and staff are nice. I would like to see change when students reach out to an adult on campus for help since the adult doesn't do the best job at helping the student. I would also like to see better college resources since they lack information or don't stay updated on top schools.

If you want your child to fail send them here. Although my daughter passed her classes with A & B grades they did not issue her credits for that semester. The assistant principal failed to let us know. When trying to correct the situation I received excuse after excuse. I was expected to be psychic...
