I was a new student coming in from Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, I did not know a word in English, but I remember my teacher helped me every day on my reading and writing skills, there were periodic programmed exams to evaluate my skills, and I remembered I got better every time I took the exam. My teachers were always pushing me a bit harder until I learned English and was even admitted on the GT program. I loved the interaction of Ms. Appel; the principal at the time when I was on Elementary. I think the GT program was what helped me the most because it was a way for me to work a bit harder and make an extra effort to become an excelling student.

He had tutoring every day and I think that was decisive for his learning process. He was also placed in the dual-language program and learned Spanish as...

The kids are not allowed to be kids. The expectations are to high. My kid did well, but many others struggle. This brings down their sel...

My son has been attending Mesita for three years now, and the administration is terrible, people are rude, and not very professional. I've had several issues as far as them sending my son on school transportation after they've been notified not to several times, so my son has had to wait for someone...
