The administration does its best to prepare students for success in their academic lives. However, due to teacher shortages many classes do not have the proper teachers, hindering students knowledge.

The gifted and talented/IB academy raises the academic performance level among the academy students, although my experience with normal-level classes (not AP, IB, or honors) has been sub-par. I would like to see a change among the level of academic rigor in normal classes, since I don't necessarily think that they prepare people for college and post-high school life.

This is a fantastic high school. The academics are superior. The students are diverse and well rounded. The curriculum is rigorous. U-46 is a fantastic school district.

This school really supported my daughter who went on to a top Illinois college and my middle daughter who is a junior. The teacher’s care, sports and clubs are numerous and if student’s need support they get it! Go Maroons!

Very good school, I am a u46 graduate and now working in u46 and all I can say is that my old high school gave me the necessary skills to pursue my degree. The teachers at the school often bully the kids. My student wasn't ready for college after 4 years and has to go to a junior college. The challenge is that so many kids are behind that the teachers have to spend time with those students, which drags everyone else down. The leadership is horrible. Th...
