GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of Halsey is there's a lot of diversity. For example, many ethnics and cultures, and the best of it is we celebrate them. The worst part would be the food I feel it's too fatty because it's all bread.

Admiral William F. Halsey Jr. Health & Public Safety Academy has been a great school and overall a second home. I have feel very loved and respect by the students and teachers. Also, the education is great and I got to learn new things and even they helped me improve my english (I am a spanish speaker). not only this but I got the opportunity to study Public Safety which helped me decided what I wanted to study when I graduated from High School. It was a good experience while it last. What I would like to change is giving study halls for students to their assignments or being more creative when teaching so the class can participate more.

I liked that the teachers really wanted students to be successful and pushed students to do their best. The guidance counselors always provided help and resources when needed.
