GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall I loved this school, it's a preforming arts highschool so there's all sorts of different activities to do. There's always concerts, musicals, talent shows, school parties, fundraisers and more. Although sometimes faculty can be a hard on students and it may seem like "back riding" but they're really there to support you and help you get ready to move forward in life whether that be for college or regular life skills

all i can say is as someone who graduated from this school recently this year the administration is godawful, discriminatory and disrespectful towards students, and is very ableist. administration will automatically threaten to give you consequences for having a panic attack, or trying to avoid being overstimulated by wearing earphones. teachers can get away with LYING about students and wont face any consequences, but students have to suffer from it. ever since the new prinicipal came, she ran this school to the ground. i got dresscoded even though i wasnt even a student here anymore for wearing a TANKTOP IN THE SUMMER. they will find any excuse or any reason to give you a suspension, straight up. the prinicpal brags about suspending students for "not wearing uniform". one of the counselors is very rude and disrespectful, she is a guidance counselor and behaves like she is administration. they go ABOVE AND BEYOND with their consequences if you slip up one day. this is what goes on.

My time at Thomas Jefferson Arts Academy was great considering that the staff really attempted to help students in need whether it was with academics or personal problems. The best part about attending Thomas Jefferson arts academy was the inclusivity and freedom students had to demonstrate their talents in the arts. The worst part would be their attempts in moralizing since in their attempt there have been ableist actions made.
