The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience so far at my high school has been good. The principal is amazing and she is very lenient. She makes each new student feel welcome and makes sure everyone is included. The teachers all teach very well. There is a wide variety of classes to take and club options two times a week. The food isn't the best so I choose to pack. I like how we have lots of fun opportunities to do new cool and interesting things. Some of the teachers are too layed back and I think they could put more effort in.

Upper Dauphin Area High School is a good school in my opinion because of the amount of science and agricultural classes they allow you to take. I took advantage of taking as many classes in the agriculture department because it fits me the best and is preparing me for what I want to do in college.
