My overall experience at Elk Grove High School has been overall a positive experience. Elk grove offers a variety of different sports, clubs, and activities to all students. Being able to participate in it's many activities has allowed me to meet lots of amazing people from all different backgrounds, and feel connected with other students in EGHS. EGHS also provides its student with many different elective options and a variety of world languages.One of which, allowed me to study Japanese and go to japan for 2 weeks during my junior year. The teacher at EGHS always try to push students to be the best they can be. I don't think I'd be the person and student I was today if I didn't have them to push me. My biggest criticism about EGHS is the food. The food at EGHs isn't terrible but the food isn't always the most healthy and the prices are a bit high compared to the quality of food you can get at times. One thing I would like to see changed is honor courses being brought back.

The best part of Elk Grove High School is the countless opportunities available to the students, and how often they're advertised. The worst part is how divided everyone is. Something I would like to see change is the way certain students of color are treated and how many cases of racism and discrimination are seen among students.

Elk Grove High School is a good place to learn. I feel safe, valued, and needed. The staff and faculty care about me and my safety. They make me feel cared for.

Never send your kid to this school , they hide bunch of stuff manipulating kid and force to agree the stuff in tricky ways even if kid is not at fault specially some dean .its ok all pay there karma and need to learn that you are in education field so kids should love you not hate you .

As a current student at EGHS, I can confidently say that EGHS isn’t a terrible school, but it isn’t an amazing school either. The one big problem with EGHS is the TERRIBLE earned honors program. There are too many smokers here, I can’t go to the bathroom because all the stalls are filled with smokers, sports are great though. School is okay.

This is a school that has a very engaging staff who appear to be very comitted to the students success. In addition to the great teachers, this school offers something for everyone in terms of all of the available school clubs & activities. Great school!
