Had a child who wasn't doing well in ellenville, moved the child to another school to better their education only for that child to give up and want to go back to ellenville school cause it was easier. Because they wouldn't care if the child missed school. Also felt like the school was so into have a star football team yet the lack of knowledge most of the children have when they got to college they dropped out. , have had a child tell me how there mom would just talk to the school to pass him so he could play football in college. However that child went to college only to drop out.

The place is too corrupt to call it a school. If you're related to the right people you can get special privileges and be promoted as the best thing that ever happened. Unless you have connections, it's a hell hole.

It has been great. The teachers give us a good education and are able to prepare us for college for the fall of 2018 semester. diversity is amazing. everyone is included in every school events and or sporting events we have offered.

Comparing this school to my high school and even others in the area... this school does NOT offer many interesting electives (only language is Spanish) and they subscribe to ‘common core’ which is annoying. The school isn't good at all. There's no trips. Nothing special about the school. & the students are horribly disrespectful.
