The teachers overlook students that require assistance. The Student Teacher ratio is definitely not 14:1. It was at least 25:1. They system needs to take a deep dive into this school. The neighborhood has grown and the school is definitely overcrowded and does not care to help students that are behind. They instead give good grades to keep up appearances and funding.

An excellent culture of responsibility and caring is being fostered at Waverly and the children emulate the same at home. Most teachers are very efficient and approachable. We moved to Waverly Woods after researching all of the schools in Howard County. Both of our children went through all grades at Waverly Elementary School. We have met generations of teachers, principals and parents and this school, it's administration and the families are off the charts thumbs up!...
