I love how close knit our small community of South Bossier is. Everyone has practically grown up together. This can be a double edged sword. It can take some time for new students to adjust to small town life. We have a military base located in our town so our school has a very diverse group of people from all over the world. I think it is great that those that grew up here get to be exposed to new and different people. The school is very supportive of academic goals. I do believe there has been a bullying issue in south Bossier over the past few years. The local school system has implemented strong counter active measures to ensure students feel safe and accepted.

Amazing school!! taught my children a lot.

Everything is totally ignored including by the school board. Elm Grove elementary isn't even a joke it is a total disregard to everything educational. From the administration to the teachers (if you call them that) 0 stars. No support, no advice, all lessons are to be taught by the parents.

This used to the best school in the parish, but the new administration is scared of teachers and the tail definitely wags the tail. The teachers can get away with hitting kids, yelling, not entering grades, losing papers, etc. and it takes a call to the school board to get anything resolved. The adm...
