Living in a small connected and strong community was something that made my experience at Notre Dame High School unique.

Decent experience. Little to no diversity. Either very good or very bad teachers. Constant feeling of judgement over personal beliefs from older staff members due to religion. Does feel like a community or a home.

For a small school, Notre Dame has a lot to offer, from Regents courses, AP courses, Elmira College classes, and more. In my experience, they were not welcoming, teachers were not communicative and responsive to emails, they did not have effective resolutions to bullying & were not open to parent suggestions/ feedback. I think the school is horrible. Some of the teachers lack integrity. The administration and curriculum need to be upgraded. For example, the science and math program is not good. I had more rigorous courses in Corning. The math only goes to Calculus I and Notre Dame has to few advance science course...

I attended for Notre Dame for six months then transferred to my local high school in Corning. The school is poorly managed and the advance level courses are too minimal.
