Cherrelyn uses STEAM concepts daily. Approximately 230 students attend Cherrelyn Elementary School at 4500 South Lincoln Street, Englewood.
Kindergarten through grade 6 received STEAM-infused lessons with the traditional academic delivery method. In addition to this schedule, students attend art, music, and PE classes twice a week. The Cherrelyn Cheetahs enjoy a well-appointed library with a fireplace, a gymnasium with various sports equipment, field trips, a playground to burn energy, and district-wide field days and festivals. There are no afterschool clubs or activities, but this is subject to change. However, there is before and after school care available.
Services are extended for students who require special education support, who are culturally and linguistically diverse, and for gifted students. Breakfast and hot lunch are also available.
