I have gone to Greenon my whole life. when I realized I was gay, I was chastised by the parents, students, and teachers. There are few accepting people around this town. While talking about diversity I can't exaggerate the fact that 2/600 people in this school are black.

Greenon High School is good, but lacks school spirit. None of the faculty is enthusiastic on being there and tend to seem miserable. Most teachers are well but some refuse to help and nothing is done about it.

I have enjoyed my time at Greenon, but it is not for everyone. The school/technology is outdated, but the teachers and admin do their best to create a positive experience for the students. The culture is not very good, but this is due to a certain group of students that participates in activities such as smoking, vaping, and drinking. The school and community has so much potential, but a few people ruin it for everyone.

All the staff just short of about 2-3 have been very rude and treat parents as if they're the stupid ones. They don't explain things very well and expect the parents to know everything.

Two of my children currently attend Greenon High School. I think the school is average to good with it's academic standards following the Ohio standards. While I feel that certain teachers and staff go above and beyond, I notice that others do the least possible. I have a real issue with the schools...
