While there are some dual credit courses available, there are many things that the student must do much independent work to be ready for more prestigious colleges. No APs are provided, adding to my last point. There are a small variety of sports available, however almost the entire Fall semester is solely focused on Football. There is a new program for underclassmen to begin their journey to college, but I believe that much more should be provided.

Speaking from a parent's perspective, this place will not adequately prepare your college bound student, especially in the areas of math, science and technology. A shame w/2 Ag teachers there isn't more emphasis on and training in 2 yr. associate programs or learning a trade. Admin spends time and $$$$ trying to look good from the outside. Truth is, nothing much academically going on from the inside

I love my school and well over half of the students there are proud to be called an Era Hornet. Together, my small community works , lives , and learns what the true meaning of family is. The school is the only thing my tiny town has and we are proud to say that it is a fine learning establishment. If given the chance to go to another school, I would turn down the offer in a heart beat. Because I am proud to be envolved at my school and to be called an Era Hornet.
