GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience is wonderful with the staff and all the teachers there. The overall mood of the community as a whole though, is very tilted. The most outspoken opinions are Christian, Republican, Farmer, etc. views. Every other opinion feels invalid to the community and the student body as a whole. The school attempts to mend this, and some teachers take even bigger steps. But, many students and their parents hold very traditional values. Some of which racist, sexist, and anti-pride.

Erie High School changed every year constantly but I feel like it helped prepare me for change in my life. However, certain things I would like to see change was the after school programs. There wasn't enough after school programs for students to get involved in and they needed more order. Overall I enjoyed my technical experience I had there as they were a technical school and it is what you make it.

Teachers really care about you as an individual and will go out of their way to help you succeed. I was definitely ready for college after going to Erie. Some of my classes at Erie were actually more difficult than college classes, but they gave me the tools to handle anything.

I graduated from Erie and moved back to the district so that my kids could attend a safe school that prepares them for the future and gives them a solid foundation.

I am a recent graduate of Erie High School, and I can attest to it being the best school any one could ask for. Every teacher is knowledgeable and willing to work individually with students. Test scores are pushed hard, however the school does a great job prepping students for college life.

Erie High School is great. I would like to thank the teachers and staff for an excellent job. My senior has interest from a wide variety of colleges, had a strong ACT score, and had fun in extracurricular activities. The district may be small, but the administration is innovative and forward thinkin...
