Chestnut Hill is the smallest school in Millcreek and that makes it have a community feel. Within a couple of years, it is not hard to know most of the kids and parents in your child's grade. Teachers and staff do well for what they are given. The school district cut back on spending, so I feel the school day is quite boring. They rarely get to have their recess outside (due to weather), don't even get PE once a week, and are forced to sit in the classroom most of the day. My daughter is...

The administration, teachers and support staff at this school are superb and fortunately that's what it's all about. The PTA is disorganized in comparison to other PTA's I've been associated with. The parents are not friendly and welcoming to newcomers.
