Iroquois is a good experience if you make it a good experience. The resources for seniors or any other grade isn't that efficient. The teachers mostly care about teaching their curriculum instead of getting kids to comprehend it. Our grade scale is more strict than other schools, even the schools that you have to be tested into (Collegiate Academy). The school could do a better job of preparing seniors for life on their own.

The administration tends to be very controlling. Many rules exist that are purely there to control. Rules about safety are obvious, but many are frivolous and shouldn't exist. I think the teachers and academics are of high quality. There's a wide variety of electives available for students.

Iroquois High School gave me a great education that prepared me for college however the leadership of the administration was retched. The lack of concern about the mental health of its students was shocking. Not to mention all of the controversy that the administration had made with multiple poor decisions on there part. Also the extreme focus on sports over other activities and clubs was discouraging.

This is an absolutely terrible school district. Some of the teachers aren't bad. It's the administration that is the absolute worst.

Wonderful school! My children have thrived in this school and are in all honors classes. Communication w/the teachers is excellent. I am also very pleased w/the extra curricular activities. There are many afters school programs ex. running club, bully free club, just say no, soccer, basketball, soft...
