The Roycemore School in Evanston has been a part of the North Shore's educational footprint since 1915. Once an all-girls school, Roycemore School's motto, "fortis et prudens simul," reminds students to merge their strength and wisdom when facing life's challenges. The school's royal blue mascot, a griffin, symbolizes courage and leadership.

My experience at Roycemore during my freshman year has been wonderful so far. Since it is a small school, you are able to have a good relationship with teachers and really get that 1 on 1 learning. Roycemore also gives students so many opportunities to explore any interest that a student might have. In my opinion Roycemore is a great school to go to because it doesn't only have a good education system but is also such a kindhearted community that cares about their school.

We especially appreciate the school's holistic approach to student development geared toward helping students become respectful contributors to the advancement of society. The culture and community of Roycemore is best in class. We highly recommend Roycemore to any family seeking a grounded, yet innovative student development experience for their child.

Roycemore is a school where students can be themselves. It is a nurturing and accepting environment, which allows students to explore what they are passionate about, but still be challenged by a rigorous college-prep curriculum. The small size allows students to have one-on-one time with teachers and build relationships, and also have opportunities they would not have at a larger school.
