We are new to the area and looked at several schools. The Academy was recommended to us by a family member and a few of our friends. We have children in the lower school and middle school and could not imagine feeling more embraced by the community and faculty. The academics have proven to be very challenging, but at the same time our students have been incredibly well supported. We are not catholic, but it doesn't matter at this school.

I've had 2 children graduate from The Academy academically and socially prepared for the next step in their lives. Mrs. Reyes keeps the needs of the students first and foremost in her goals as she leads her staff towards delivering the highest quality instruction that considers educating the whole child. The community of families at The Academy goes beyond mere faces in the parking lot during pick-up and drop-off. The parents genuinely welcome and support all those who happen to find their way onto the grounds of the school. The saying "It takes a village to raise a child" is evident in every facet of this small but mighty learning and thriving community.

I liked it but had some trouble with teachers. I really liked the community and the classmates. It felt like a was a big part of a big family.

We moved our kids in the middle of the school year to ASJA last year from D65. It's been a wonderful transition. The school provides structure, strong academics, excellent teachers with tenure, Diversity!!, lots of extra curriculars for a small school, small class sizes, excelled classes for advance...
