GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have really enjoyed working with most of my children's teachers. There are many that truly care about each and everyone. There are struggles if you have a child with a learning disability, not all teachers care to follow IEP's.

I love my small school. Everyone knows each other, from the Freshman to the Seniors. Everyone rallies around each other in school events such as Football games on Friday nights, or school plays. It really feels like we are all one big family.

Some teachers at Nooksack go above and beyond what is necessary to teach students and make sure they understand the classroom curriculum. However others do the bare minimum and would rather assign work packets rather than teach and make sure we as students understand the subjects.

Both of my sons went to this school. They are not well equipped for kids with learning disabilities such as ADD, even had a couple of grade school teachers hint that they thought they were dumb.
