I enjoyed my experience at the school. JROTC was the highlight of my high school year. I loved the family-feel. They always made me feel secure and safe. Administration were big on making sure students were not in the hallways during class time.

Overall, Langston Hughes High School is a good school. I would love to see more resources available to the school especially the athletic department.

I rate my experience at this school to be terrible. There are many issues that this school needs to have worked out, mainly academic and administrative in nature. This school isn't that diverse, a 90% black student body is never "diverse" in nature. It is only "diverse" because of the definition tha...

This is a beautiful and very diverse school, I loved this school since the day I walked in from DC, it was a big difference but the staff and students were great and this school has great college preparation, I have Harvard looking at me right now and it is all thanks to this school
