I have 3 children at St. Thomas and we moved them over from Fairfield Public Schools. While the public school we are zoned for is good - and a community favorite, we found it alarming that there was no real phonics program, and no languages and no handwriting. St. Thomas has all that, plus script handwriting, math competitions, spelling tests, and a garden program. One of my favorite things about St. Thomas is they help teach the kids the right way to do things, and how to be good people, not just how to walk in a line from recess to lunch. The bottom line is - our kids love going to school everyday, and they are so happy there.

Bullying by middle school is out of control. The older boys on the playground are really rough and are constantly throwing the school issued equipment into the woods surrounding the property or throwing balls really hard at the girls or smaller students. It's out of control and I would really not want a girl out there. School nurses are nice.

I would highly recommend St Thomas. My kids have graduated. We spent 12 years going from Pre K/K to 8. They are all now on to advanced classes in multiple high schools. They are happy and I am very happy. Wonderful families, teachers and staff. There are special poignant moments like first communion...

We are very happy that we chose to send our child to St. Thomas. Our kindergartner has simply thrived there emotionally, socially and academically. We have been here for five years. My children have friends. They are learning at or above grade level. They are involved in many activities. We are very pleased with their academic, social and spiritual development. As parents we have also made terrific life long friends. It's spectacular community.

We have three children at St. Thomas. We transferred into the school and had experience with Fairfield Public. What we have found is an academicly rich environment, a caring environment, and an environment that develops and stresses character. We are so happy we made the choice to be at St. Thomas....
