I absolutely have more academic freedom in that I can turn my assignments in at later times when I am unable to give them to teachers on time. I do not, however, get to see my fellow classmates most often anymore. I often feel that I missed out on a lot of what Americans experience in high school. I would not recommend this to someone who has a fear of losing their friends and does not want to go through school feeling alone.

Virtual school has been such a positive experience for me. It has allowed me the opportunity to work at my own pace with the added support of teachers through video meetings, calls etc.

Baldwin County Virtual School has changed a lot due to COVID-19 but they have done great with adapting to those sudden and unusual changes. Not only are professors nice and helpful, but the classes themselves aren't troubling because I can contact my teachers whenever I need to.
