This school has more potential and greater student outcome than the community gives it credit. There have been wonderful academic and career & technical educational programs in which Durfee students have excelled and been college and career ready because of the dedication of the staff and students at Durfee. We have 3 generations and multiple family members who are alumni and have done very well for themselves after graduating Durfee HS.

In the old Durfee, it felt like you were in a health hazard. In the new Durfee, there are large and bright windows, clubs and activities for everyone, classes that challenge you, staff and teachers that want to help you, and the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is an amazing program that teaches students career pathways for the future. As for worst, Durfee has bad fights, which gets posted on Snapchat, overall direspectful students who don't know when to stop.

At B.M.C Durfee high school they offer so much for all students, even outside of academics. The clubs/ resources available are so much more than I believed during my early years. The school also offers so many programs and courses that will help so much on student journey to a higher education.
