GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part is that it is a smaller school and I know most of my classmates on a personal level. The worst part is that some of the classes are online and there is not an actual teacher for the class, just a supervisor. I would like the classes to have face to face teaching.

A handful of amazing teachers and several great ones. Wish they offered a better education (i.e. hiring specialized teachers to teach classes instead of making them all online and just having someone babysit). Pretty good overall

I am a student at DWCS and the staff and students are great here. We are issued laptops to help us expand our education to greater lengths. The sports here are wonderful. Our grade point average is a B, while Union Parish high school's is a D. So, the better school is obvious.

DWCS is a great place to be. The academics at this school are far better than any in the area. Dual Enrollment and other courses are offered at the high school at great lengths. They also offer extra curricular programs and after school activities. Elementary classes all have two teachers in each cl...
