The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

Hall-Dale is great if you know exactly what you want and can guide yourself through it all. If you need help or are unsure of what to do next however, this may not be what you're looking for. The grading system undergoes frequent changes and differentiation in grading policies make it very hard to understand what's happening from class to class. The athletics and arts programs are great, but the academics leave something to be desired.

It has been very pleasant. Everyone has always tried to help me in whatever ways they can. I have also kept a lot of my friends over the years. I really enjoy playing on the sports teams because there is a very good culture within the teams. We are always competing and pushing to be better every day. I feel the same in classes. My teachers are always pushing me to get faster and smarter.

Hall-dale is an overall good school but it would be WAY WAY WAY WAY better if we had better food. Teachers aren't bad but sometimes I feel like their too involved and in peoples business. The grading system isn't traditional and kind of confusing using numbers such as 1, 2, 3, 4. a 4 is like extra credit but since their small numbers one project can bring your grade down which can be really annoying. Some teachers grade based on behavior which doesn't make a lot of sense if you do really good in academics but aren't a great student in class. When there is a problem with bullying not a lot really happens, the bully just get a reflection which is a piece of paper that you fill out, a teacher signs it, and your parents sign it. Overall hall-dale isn't a great school, sorry I lied in the beginning.
