Farmington Hills Power Middle School serves the community of Farmington Hills and sixth through eighth grade students with a curriculum tailored to maximize each child's individual potential. All students enjoy year-long study in English, math, science and social studies or history. Sixth grade students may elect to take semester-long courses in music, technology, art, theater and computer keyboarding. Year-long electives include participation in band, orchestra, cadet band, cadet orchestra and choir. Beginning in the 7th grade, students enroll in year-long English 7, emphasizing personal narrative, interpretation of poetry, character analysis and expository and argumentative writing. Other courses include Social Studies 7, focused on Ancient World History, and Accelerated Math. Year-long electives include Encore Choir, covering stage presence and musical interpretation. Semester electives include engineering technology, computer applications, video production and world languages. 8th grade students study U.S. History and may take Honors Geometry. Year-long electives include music and French, Spanish, Japanese and Arabic and yearbook. The red and white Gladiators rule their competitors in basketball, cross country, football, volleyball, wrestling and track. Students channel their extracurricular passions in the Science Fair, Jazz Band, Power Playhouse and Student Council. Supporting students' broad development, Power Middle School equips each child to succeed.

My child got a headache from how ANNOYING the kids are! The best thing from this school is how he learns a lot! But the teachers are HORRIBLE!!!

I am a 7th grade student that attends Power Middle school. The Family Engagement, Special Education, and Teaching aren't a problem. Though, there were many fights in 2022, I feel we have progressed as a school in maturity. Many more students would be happy to learn if classes where like they are in...

in the classroom its okay but the bathrooms are never cleaned,Homework well they gives lots of it. the teachers are nice some are mean,Like some teachers give bad dirctions and then blame it on you. There food is so bad i dont even eat it power if your seeing this please change this and make better...
