As an athlete myself, I can't complain about the athletic opportunities given to me at the school. However, although the resources were great, there was a lack of organization within the athletic department. To be completely honest, I can't really complain. With all of the academic and athletic opportunities from Sachem, my gratefulness overflows all of the minor complaints.

I found that some teachers cared solely on grades without looking to help their students succeed more. But most of my teachers were caring and had strategies to help us learn and take in information the best way we could.

I hope that administration can start putting their students' needs ahead of their own egos and treat sports and music/arts equal, seeing as student participation in music/arts is more involved.

I just love SACHEM HIGH SCHOOL EAST the teachers here are very cooperative there is a lot to choose from and this school is one of the best in LONG ISLAND if you live in LONG ISLAND then go to SACHEM its the best.

Wonderful school! The teachers are excellent and there are many activities for the kids to be involved in. Really prepares them for college!
