My overall experience at Fayette County High School has been pretty good. I would say my best year was Freshman year and after that year school didn't really feel fun and welcoming anymore as I just started to come just to graduate and nothing else.

I like the college readiness programs Fayette County high school offers. Fayette county high school offers advanced placement courses along with dual enrollment courses at the local college that helps prepare every student for their future educational path. This school also brings many fun memories with its rich traditions in sports and activities. It is a small town school so everyone is close and like one big family.

It was overall not a bad experience, the teachers were great if you took rigorous courses. However some regular classes were overbearing at times. Students would over power the teacher most of the time which inhibit them to teach. Besides that, it offered great clubs that allowed plenty of opportunities to become active in the community and volunteer and it was a lot of fun.

Does not push the kids to look ahead. It seems they are like the schools of the 1950's and just get through and go to work.

The focus here seems to be "just stay in school and do the minimum to get by."
