GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I wouldn't change anything. I love my kids going to hub. It is a small school and all the kids are known personally by name.

Uniforms are not required, but the dress code is pretty strict. A student cannot have an unnatural looking hair color which I though was an interesting policy.

Options for elective courses are few. Students do have access to Advanced Placement courses and these prove to be very challenging.

The education isn’t really the problem but the students are, if you want your kid to be in a safe, non-bullying zone this is not the place. Even when confronted about the bullying nothing is done about it.

I got hate crimed here and nobody did anything about it. If you have a kid of color or a kid of the LGBTQ+ community I would not recommend bringing them to this school.

We were apprehensive about sending our children to such a small school after moving to the area a few years ago. I must say all of those worries were unfounded. Hubbertville provides an exceptional program that is grounded in such a friendly family atmosphere. My children have had a far better educa...
