GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Fayette High School has been my school for the past four years, and before that, other schools in the Fayette School District. Throughout the time I've spent there it has gone downhill. Admin has no organization. Figures "in charge" often punish students for small things like using pens on their notes while other students take part in doing drugs in bathrooms and do not get any punishment for it. During class time (45-60 mins) only about 20-30 minutes are used in teaching.

The best is when you can find your life long friends and your teachers will stay after school hours to help you with work you don't understand and the worst is how small minded some people are and the racism.

The funding wasn't all too stellar, and I would brag about the school spirit. The amount of fun school activities we had were less and less and the years progressed through my high school career. But it's where I grew up, so it was very easy to be one on one with the teachers about things since the school isn't but 500 people at it's most.
