The best thing is we can go on many excursions, and the worst thing is the number of people. It is a very small school. I want to see more people involved in sports and hobbies involvement. The school overall is a very nice school, always involved, learning things you might not be able to get at a public school and most other private schools.

I've been at the Foundry Academy for a year now and I think it's amazing. I left Trinity because I was not feeling seen as a student and this small school is a big improvement. I broke my kneecap my freshman year and I received a lot of support from the other students and teachers. The best experience I've had has probably been the flexibility in my schedule and having at least two days to complete my homework. In terms of what I would like to see changed, I suppose that I would like to see increased organization of the school. Also, I would like to see more things that we do specifically laid out in school policy.

After my son experienced extreme hazing at Trinity (another private school in the area) I put my son at the Foundry. This school has been an amazing place of peace and refuge for my son. Bullying is not tolerated at all. The small class sizes have allowed my son to get leadership experience where he might have been too shy or overlooked in a bigger school. The teachers are truly able to mentor the kids so that they actually master their subjects not just memorize things for a test. Also this school provides unique experiences that have truly helped my child to mature and develop interests they might not otherwise had.
