Some of the best parts about this high school are definitely in the Music and Arts department as the teachers there are great whilst the students are dedicated to their craft. But some of the worst parts are the facility as it's an old rotting building with very outdated features including terrible central heating quite drafty building and no form of air conditioning that leads to scorching classrooms in the early parts of fall and later dates of spring. This school has some potential but a lot of drawbacks especially when compared to others in the district.

The school building itself is pretty old but the district has plans to build a new building in the coming years. The staff are all pretty good, especially the teachers, there are quite a few who genuinely care about their students. Classes can be flexible and our sports teams are pretty good too. There was a lot of school spirit so going to events and games were always fun and exciting to be at.

One of the worst high schools you could ever go to. Counselors are lazy and never respond promptly, class sizes are huge leading to there typically not being enough seats in a class to fit all students. Solid 2 stars. The resources are there and I think for the majority of students it's a good fit. Most aspire to attend UW and if that's your goal, you will achieve it. I move around a lot but when I was a junior I had to go to Decatur. Decatur is a terrible school teachers don't care and won't help you. It is also like a prison at Decatur it is ridiculous they put up baby gates to lock you into areas. but the worst part is that 50% of the students smoke and drink...
