They are terrible at giving information out, I never know what's going on, my parents don't either. The school focuses too much on sports, leaving the extracurriculars I enjoy to be ignored or not funded. The food has gotten better, and the teachers are alright. I enjoy all the art classes I'm in, and was able to find friends within the school.

Best- winning state for the first time in our school's history for boy's golf and being the MVP both junior and senior year in golf for the state of Nevada, and individual state champion my senior year. Freshman year was the worst because of COVID no sports were going on as usual and we were on cohort groups so I did not see many friends and had to stay home half of the time due to being on cohorts.

I enjoyed the amount of extracurricular activities that were provided in school. The negative experience in this school was the difficulty of requesting a counselor to help with personal or academic problems. I would like to see this aspect of FHS change for the better.

My experience as a parent of Fernley High School was awful. Unless your child is a star athlete, stay as far away as possible. Pay out of pocket for private schooling or even home school your child. The dress code is getting out of hand. I understand no spaghetti straps ect., I also understand the two finger strap rule. Now it's no sleeveless tops. They must be at least cap sleeves.
