I went to this boarding school for my Sophomore and Junior year of high school, from which I graduated a year early. The education was good in the cultural aspect of Native Americans, i often seen issues regarding substance abuse and bullying. For the kids who went to do what they needed to, it worked well but it also worked for those kids who were apathetic in education and while they tried to put kids on the right track, as easy as it was to excel it was just as easy for them to fall into bad habits.

the polocies at Flandreau arent that good seems like the administrative does not deserve to work with native american high school students, like a policy now is when lunch is in session they have to lock the school doors until lunch is over then we are let back inside, even when its cold and below they still lock the doors. there are many policies that are rediculous but we as students have to follow them.

There's stuff for the students to do every single day of the week!! Everyday there's a different club. Monday- Thursday I go to at least five different clubs. There is a lot to do here, you'll never get bored and I find myself learning something new about different things everyday.
