The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall I loved Flora High School, they push us to be the best we can be and more. The best part was sports, if you were not eligible to play you were failing two classes that pushed us to do well in school. the worst part is my fault throughout freshmen year and sophomore year I passed but did not put in enough effort I was lazy even when the teachers encouraged us to do our work, they would give us enough time to work and I didn't take that opportunity till the end of junior year. That is my biggest regret, I wish I could fix that. I like to see that the future teachers keep up with pushing the kids to do better than they think they are, so many kids think they can't do it, but only until the teachers get creative and make us do what we think is the impossible do we know we are so much more than an average student. Because of the teachers at Flora High School, I'd like to pursue a career in early childhood education, and special education. I want to help the kids like flora teachers.

The best part of Flora High School is the teachers. The teachers have helped me through high school, and I couldn't have asked for a better teaching staff. I am a better person because I can look up to my teachers. The worst of my experience is the bus drivers. I know that the school has no control over the bus staff, but when you are a high school student getting treated as a preschooler something needs to be done. The changes I would like to see are the drivers having more respect for the students. If you don't give us respect we will not give you respect.

The things I like most about Flora High school is the experienced and wisdom filled faculty. The guidance is tremendous. One thing I would like to see change is the which extracurricular activities they support most. Some sports, clubs, etc. are almost forgotten due to another out-shining it.
