GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is a county school in Alabama, the funding is limited but we do have some wonderful people in the community that donate and wonderful parents that help with maintenance.

Central High School is a great school; however, it does have its flaws. Some students can be rude as-well as some teachers. We do have a selection of great teachers but we also have teachers who are simply there for a pay check. Central has a great variety of different extracurricular activities for all types of people. I would personally like to see some improvements of how the teachers act toward their students.

Very close and personal! Family oriented and all of the teachers truly care about the students! Plenty to offer, even with being a small school! Lots of small town traditions! It's totally different atmosphere!
