This is an awesome school. I love my job. The admin team is so supportive of the teachers and will help anyway they can.

Florence middle school offers many opportunities for student involvement. There are many arts classes called the FAFA program. Florence Academy of Fine Arts program offers dance classes, art classes, band, guitar, choir, etc. We also offer higher level core classes, stem classes, etc.

The Good: I absolutely love the staff and resources available at FMS. The students are able to take Encore classes and extracurricular activities that most people could only dream of getting to take or participate in.The Bad: Some of my students are very disrespectful and/or defiant.

The staff and administrators truly work hard to put the kids first! They come in early, stay late, and use every available minute of the school day to make sure they are working for the best way to educate each and every student at FMS!

Great school! Multiple communication channels for parents to access school-related information. There is a very large variety of extra-curricula activities to be involved in so there is something for all interests.

Florence Middle School has a place for every student, no matter their interests. We offer multiple opportunities for students to be engaged in academics, extra-curricular activities, and athletics. I don't know of another school with such a diverse population and with so much available for students....
