Overall, the administration and faculty feel like a family. Someone is always willing to help someone else. It would be nice to see the parents more involved and consistent with what we try to teach at the school.

I enjoy my Co-workers! We are like a family here. The Admin here are very understanding and easy to talk to. I feel we need more parent-involvement. Students should also be held more accountable for late or missing assignments.

The Good: I absolutely love the staff and resources available at FMS. The students are able to take Encore classes and extracurricular activities that most people could only dream of getting to take or participate in.The Bad: Some of my students are very disrespectful and/or defiant.

The staff and administrators truly work hard to put the kids first! They come in early, stay late, and use every available minute of the school day to make sure they are working for the best way to educate each and every student at FMS!

Great school! Multiple communication channels for parents to access school-related information. There is a very large variety of extra-curricula activities to be involved in so there is something for all interests.

Florence Middle School has a place for every student, no matter their interests. We offer multiple opportunities for students to be engaged in academics, extra-curricular activities, and athletics. I don't know of another school with such a diverse population and with so much available for students....
