I've been attending Florence highschool for 3 years and I could not wish for a better opportunity and experience!

I liked the teachers. They strove to do the best for their students. The administration was marginal. They have the "good old boys system" there. They will do something that may seem odd to benefit another person. The culture was lacking although that was something that teachers and administrators were focusing on improving. There is a sense of community now that wasn't there when I was there.

Florence High School was nice to be in because of it's size. Since there was no more than 450 students in the school, you can really get to know everyone. This helped a lot when it came to working as a team in sports and clubs because it was so tightly woven. This high school offers a lot of good health and science classes that may not be for college credit, but they do set you up to be college ready.

This school is a joke if you can avoid sending your kids to school here you should. They don’t answer phones and students aren’t getting help they need to succeed.
