My experience at this school was mediocre at best. The teachers are decent, classes are okay, and the sports are good. What I wish they would change is the student interaction between passing period and involvement with the school more enjoyable.

The best part would be certain teachers, mainly tlin the advanced classes, and the ability to interact with other students. The worst part would be students who don't act as a civilized person should, mainly through fighting, and the administration who have lots of issues, like not opening the doors on time in the morning and leaving kids standing out in the cold, who cycle through positions like clockwork, mainly principals.

Overall Hazelwood Central High School is a good school. I like that they offer students dual enrollment, dual credit and co op to help students prepared for their future.

I’m an alumni of this school as well as an employee. I’ve been working at this school for a while and one thing I’ve noticed is that every year, the criminalization of these (Black) students increases every year. Years ago, students were able to eat outside, walk outside to cut through the hallways...

Hazelwood has apparently gone to you know where in a hand basket looking at the past reviews. These poor kids have nothing to look forward to, no incentive to do right. So, they run amuck. Don't do it, do NOT enroll your kids in Hazelhood.
