Floyd county High school has been good. Now I can say I have had my fair share of bad teaching but I feel like that comes with every school. I understand that not every teacher can accommodate to everyones learning styles. I have always enjoyed going to football games and felt that the staff has gotten more involved over my time at the high school. I have great friends and there is an amazing community behind Floyd County High school.

Floyd is an interesting school. It is nice if you want to become a nurse, engineer, or farmer, but it is not really helpful for other professions. I wish there were more business classes, more language classes to choose from, and more electives like a creative writing class. The sports department is nice but I do wish it had a swim team, but it has some nice social environments !

We have faced some peer and environmental issues within the school, but overall the student body bands together to try and brainstorm a solution.

This is one of the few schools in this region that has been fully accredited over the past 12 years. It provides a remarkable number of extracurricular activities, there is a very di...
