My experience at Forest has been good so far. Some teachers have taught considerably well and have prepared their classes for college well. Others may lack those abilities but are trying. I believe we do need to have a better variety of classes to take to prepare us for colllege.

I love the close knit community and how involved the high school teachers are. I do wish that there were more advanced academic opportunities and a much larger sense of school spirit.

The school is small, but recent school closures in the area have flooded classrooms. This has led to numerous rooms such as the science lab and the library to be converted into classrooms for elementary students. Teachers vary in skill and motivation.

My husband attended elementary and High School at Forest LA. He still talks about the amazing teacher/people that made an impact on his life.
