Some of the best parts is that the students at JF are nice and very competent. The thing I would like to see is better lunch food because it show times looks like slop

Jefferson Forest High School is, in my opinion, sets a great example for public high schools in the area. JFHS is a very diverse school that sends many high achieving students to colleges in the state of VA and beyond each year. Our athletics programs are very competitive, especially football, swim & dive, and soccer.

Overall my four years have been great and I got into my first choice college. Things that need to change is the administration. Students get suspended for minor infractions while students who fight, use drugs, and pose a safety risk get the same punishment. The Admin does not want to believe that drugs are an issue at school. I will not use the bathroom at school due to safety concerns.

This school gave great accommodations for my child with learning disability. The administration was quick to change her schedule and make sure that my child could handle the classes. The counselors are very busy but they are trying to be there for every student. The teachers are a mix, some are tire...

I am a current student at this school. The school handles educations very well. The math department is amazing, and so is the English department. The Science department is mediocre but the math more than makes up for it. I would say that the number of Advanced classes JF offers is really good. The s...

Each student typically thinks differently. The school had some issues with Confederate flags and girl fights, but the faculty resolved those issues. Decent food, usually funny teachers, and a great theatre program. Very organized layout and a nice little library. Vending machines in the hallways and...
