I am an alumni of District Heights Elem. I went there from Pre-K to 6th grade and those were my best years in school. When I was going there, diversity wasn't really throughout the school. I may have been one of the 5 or 6 hispanics there but I made many friends there. I learned what I needed to know and I was also in the TAG program there. The TAG program taught me very outside of the box thinking that has helped me in my later years. Overall, District Heights was a good school. I return there regularly to keep my favorite teachers updated on the whereabouts of my education.

I see all the negative comments about District Heights Elementary, but my experience with this school and the staff have been great. DO NOT SEND OUR CHILDREN TO THIS SCHOOL. THIS SCHOOL SHOULD BE CLOSED. YOUR CHILD WILL NOT LEARN PEOPLE SKILLS IN THIS SCHOOL. THE ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF DON'T USE ANY. IF THEY DON'T USE ANY HOW MUCH WILL THE PRINCIPAL USE.

The new principal is amazing but the school needs to be shut down. Don't send your child to this school !!!!! PG county PLEASE shut this school DOWN! Our children are suffering....
