It's very clique oriented but people aren't tied down to one group. Most of the teachers actually care about making sure you retain what they teach.

Fort Calhoun is a very small and secure school. Most teachers are amazing and have a knack for teaching teens. However, since the school is so small it is hard to break out of social norms or get away from bullies. The school in other words puts you in a cage together with some of the worst people. That isn't their fault that the school is full of bigots and homophobes that's just the life of a small town. Other than that I'd say my school experience here has been good. I have grown fond of the teaching staff and even the janitorial staff.

Teacher Sara Wellman highhorse apparently isn't familiar with the first amendment...Sara, likes to threaten students and give detention for shirts that offend her.. Typical soft liberal.

Both my children graduated from Fort calhoun and bothhad good experienceswhile in school there. I substitute taught at Fort calhoun High school for many years.
