Small classroom sizes, tight community, ability for personal growth due to one-on-one relationships with teachers, administration & staff. Supportive education board & booster club.

I have gone to fort calhoun high school my entire life and I am not really sure what to say about it. Most of the newer teachers are nice and caring but a majority Are older and rude and are not understanding. There are good days and bad days but I can't wait to get out of here.

There is a bullying policy, but I feel that it could be stricter. The school has had several assemblies and brought in speakers to teach us about the effects and consequences of bullying. I believe there is a larger bullying problem outside of school online then during school. At my school we have a fairly strict dress code. Some teachers are better at enforcing it than others. The girls have more of a problem with the dress code than the boys do. Most of the students do a good job following the dress code.

Lacks a business centered leadership team which accounts for their overspending.
