GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Although Tolsia is a great school, it is low funded, my experiences have been great so far especially within the staff. I would love to see our school become more up to date.

Tolsia has a real family-like environment. It's a smaller school, so it's easy to get to know your teachers and make friends that you'll see a lot, not to mention that it's athletic departments are really underrated. I've played softball, cross-country, and JROTC's Raider program, and we win all sorts of competitions to be a small single A. There's also a really nice tutoring program after school with buses that take you right to your house, so it's always easy to get help and time to make up assignments.
