The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Stranahan high school was a very enjoyable school although I didn't have many friends there are so many clubs and different places to find people with the same interest as you. The administration caters to their students and go out of their way to get the very best for you.

It was adequate. A new counselor is needed for senior she was the worst but overall I had a good highschool experience.

My overall experience with Stranahan was good and bad. The help that was required from teachers and other staff members were barely provided for the students sake. I feel like Stranahan needs to be better at making the school safe and caring more about students who are being bullied and students who need a better education to apply for colleges.

The teachers and staff are dedicated to the students. They have really good magnet programs and alternate pathways for the students to be successful. I'm happy that I enrolled my child at Stranahan. He did very well in the Engineering Magnet program. Now he's on his way to the University of Florida!...

My children are from Michigan suburbs and we read all these horrible reviews when we moved here! They are in the magnet program and band and have had a wonderful experience! Don't be fooled by the bad press! Some of the wealthiest schools have the biggest drug problems! It doesn't matter where your...
